Come visit TAIWAN on the 4th of July at Pier 39

With a booth in the center of Pier 39, Taiwan will be showcased at this year!|s Waterfront festivities.  Stop by for free information about the island, souvenirs and give-aways.  And learn how to win a free packaged tours to Taiwan!

 

Visitors to the booth will also see traditional cultural performances and learn more about discount packages to Taiwan. Have fun at the waterfront and, at the same time; plan your next vacation.

 

The Taiwan Visitors Association(TVA) San Francisco Office!|s booth will be opened from 10am !V 5pm.  It will be decorated with posters, Taiwanese cultural items and travel brochures.

 

At TVA!|s booth, people can register to win cute paper lantern commemorating Taiwan!|s Lantern Festival 2006. Other prizes include Bird Tattoos, highlighting just a few of the 450 species on Taiwan and sheets of stamps, depicting Taiwan!|s scenic beauties or aboriginal culture.  Watch a 30-second film !??Taiwan, Touch Your Hearts!?L on the video board near the Pier!|s Merry-Go-Around or pick up a DVD copy to find out more about Taiwan.  More souvenirs will be handed out, such as Taiwan!|s map, pens, baseball hats, t-shirts and much more.

 

Best of all, you will have the chance to visit Taiwan in person if you log on Taiwan!|s website. From June 20 to September 20, just register at www.go2taiwan.net, pick your favorite spot in Taiwan, and you will have the chance to win a free trip for two to Taiwan.

 

Throughout the day, visitors may stroll back to the booth for demonstrations on Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, and Dough Figurines.  Some will even get a chance to see their name transformed into Chinese classical ink writings.
